Housed at the Persad Center, the nation's second oldest licensed counseling center specifically created to serve the LGBT community, SAGE Western Pennsylvania is able to deliver specialized services that improve the lives of the growing LGBT senior community. Program highlights include health and wellness activities, transgender services, mental health counseling, living with HIV support groups, social activities, and more. Persad also offers SAGE's National Resource Center on LGBT Aging's cultural competency training to groups that serve or are interested in learning more about the aging LGBT population.
