The Iconic pub has now suffered at the hands of the corporate brewers. It used to be heaving with older gentlemen and their admirers even in the lunch hour and it was a carnival atmosphere on Friday and Saturday nights. Now, the straights have overtaken the pub, but you do find some old timers who come here to cherish some of their favourite memories.
