Announcements: Duplicate Images

OlderGay.Men started with pictures. One of my goals when I remade the site four years ago was to root out all the duplicates that had crept into the collection. I came up with a system that worked well. Until it didn't. Due to a broken dependency. I tried to make friends with the folks involved, but they weren't into it.
I put a stopgap measure in place which, of late, has ensured duplicates instead of preventing them. I started searching for alternatives. An old friend came to town and dragged me through assorted older men fleshpots. When I recovered, a new friend helped me get things working again this weekend. We're now updating the 11,000+ images which were added in the meantime. Hopefully, by the time you're reading this, we'll be on our way back to a more sensible set of pictures, and I'll be incorporating some of the alternatives I explored along the way to be even more precise about what we consider a dupe.
