Announcements: Our Long OGM Nightmare

Today, I'm happy to say that our long nightmare seems to be over; image rating should be working again. If you go to an image's page, like:

So there you go. Hope it's all working well for everyone again. If you're interested in why it took so long, let's just say that JavaScript bundling is the bane of my existence, along with everyone who posted somewhere that it's probably a problem with this, except that we're not doing that anymore, and you'll probably want to migrate to that, but when you do that, you'll probably want to bundle CSS as well, and then get rid of what served the two of them, but then that might not work, and after you bang your head against it for a few days, we'll bury a footnote somewhere mentioning that all of that is outdated and now we're doing this, but it doesn't do CSS, so you'll have to rip all that out and replace that part of what you had before, but then, of course, the included shim for non-native browser transpiling didn't get this security patch, so you'll need to do this workaround, and then everything that looks perfect in staging will break in production, and Ed Asner is somewhere crying for you in Heaven.
Please tell me it's working. 🙃 And, hopefully, it's stable enough, and we can move on to even better things.
