PrimeTimers Grand Rapids (PTGR) was organized in 2010. It is a social organization for mature gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals who self-identify as male, over 21 years of age. Our group provides opportunities to enjoy social, educational, and recreational activities in a supportive atmosphere. We typically have around 50 members. PTGR is a non-profit, non-political social organization, and a chapter of PrimeTimers Worldwide (PTWW).

PTGR hosts one or more events each month. There's a monthly dinner social at various restaurants throughout the greater Grand Rapids area, museum tours, local theatre performances, gay mens' chorus concerts, and more.
