Hot

Since 1996, the HOT bar has become a true institution and landmark in Madrid.
Manuel Greppi and Niky inaugurated HOT with some reminiscences of leather and country culture, dreaming of a sociable space for bears, older gays and anyone else who did not feel comfortable with other proposals in Chueca.
Becoming the meeting point of the Gorditos association.
Manolo - as we all called him - was an active promoter of HIV information and prevention campaigns, and from his bar he promoted and disseminated all kinds of activities to combat the pandemic, stigma, and discrimination.
HOT bar continues today—with Niky at the helm—as a safe haven for older gay men and their admirers, open to anyone who wants to come in, playing a crucial role in the creation of the bear movement in the city. For over a quarter of a century, it has evolved and updated itself to become the epicenter of the bear community in Madrid; but not only for them. Its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to diversity have won the hearts of many people in the LGBTQ+ community, attracting a loyal, diverse, and varied clientele.
Over time, HOT has experienced remarkable growth.
Both their staff and their music selection are highly valued. Their friendliness and professionalism are greatly appreciated.
The music played in the bar is carefully selected to create the perfect atmosphere for bear lovers. The friendly and helpful staff strive to provide an unforgettable experience for every visitor.
We are currently collaborating with the Bear Pride community. We are thrilled to share this news with you, as together we strive for a bear community that goes beyond nudes. We focus on cultivating a culture of respect, friendship, and mutual appreciation.
