In mid 2021, the Frank Harr Foundation changed our name to The LGBTQ Center of the Cape Fear Coast. We hope this change will make us more visible and easier for folks to find.

We are proud of the outreach work we're doing at the LGBTQ Center and our growing services to youth, older LGBTQ folks, and everyone in between. We respond to phone calls from isolated, lonely LGBTQ elders and connect them to community and resources. We talk to parents of young queer folks who are desperately seeking a place where their child can find love, support, and acceptance. Our amazing volunteers and facilitators enable us to host over a dozen programs, like Safe Zone training, the Wilmington Pride Youth Group, OWLS, and our Breaking the Binary: Transgender and Gender-Nonconforming support group.
