Prime Timers of Kansas City
(Listing updated about 1 year ago.)
Prime Timers Kansas City (PTKC) was founded in October 2002 with about 20 members. Members are older gay or bisexual men and younger adult men who admire mature men. We have grown to now enjoy the camaraderie of 52 members.
Despite popular opinion, the joys of the gay lifestyle need not stop at age 40, 60, 80, or older. We are men who choose to have their social lives enriched by participating in the diverse activities offered by our chapter. PTKC members come from all walks of life and get involved in the KC community through volunteerism, gay issues, arts, entertainment, and every other facet of healthy living. Some members work and others are retired, some are always on the go, and some enjoy the quiet company of others at home. Our members are business men and professionals. Some are fathers and caregivers. One thing is true of all PTKC members, they enjoy the opportunities and friendships they develop with Prime Timers locally and throughout the world.
We have dining out and breakfast gatherings weekly:
Every Monday at 5 PM we meet at Bistro 303 on 303 Westport Road for $6 sandwiches with fries.
Every Thursday at 10 AM we meet at Swop Park by the pool area on 6700 Lewis Rd, Kansas City. for Coffee Talk and discussion.
Group activities may also include movies, our ZOO, museums, art galleries, day trips, and Heartland Men’s Chorus concerts.
