On the 12th of May 2007, Michael Stone (the Vice President of Chapters from Prime Timers World Wide) met with nine St. Louis gay men to help create Prime Timers St. Louis. These men quickly established an interim Board of Directors and slate of Officers.

Prime Timers St. Louis (PTSL) is a social organization open to mature men (21 years and older) who self-identify as Gay or Bisexual. We provide fellowship through social, educational, and recreational activities in a safe, positive and supportive environment.

Our members create a variety of events and activities so every member can participate and enjoy friendship and fellowship with other older Gay and Bi men.
Our Membership meetings are held four times a year. Please check our calendar for specific dates and times. These meetings include social fellowship along with educational topics that are relevant to our membership. Other activities include:
Brunches, Potlucks, Dining out, and picnics
Movies, Plays, and Game Nights
Local trips to museums, walking tours, and other points of interest
Outdoor Activities such as cycling, camping, hiking and golf
Out of Town Trips by carpooling, bus, and train
Day Trips to the countryside and nearby towns
