Members can’t delete trashed messages
Subject lines are not appearing in message responses
All trips are showing embedded on pages
This is happening when we embed trips in a turbo frame, for example on:
https://oldergay.men/users/bartman2
It’s probably related to handling coordinate input instead of strings of place names.
Some videos are not playing on all devices
The site freezes on Android devices
Users are finding that the site locks up and won’t scroll after some time. Possibly related to the image gallery.

Page problem reports aren't going through
Default login pages are showing
Since upgrading to Rails 8, we're showing default login pages instead of ones embedded in our site's template.
Image uploading is broken
Our JFIF file handling was corrupting the uploaded files. We need to fix the problem going forward and try to recover the images still in the pipeline.
Members can't update their profiles
Email confirmation links are showing an error message
When users confirm their email addresses, the confirmation succeeds, but a server error is shown about an internal matter.
“People nearby” only works after reloading
Example:
At https://oldergay.men/places/fountaingrove-lodge, we see “75 OlderGay.Men members live nearby.” Clicking that link leads to zero results, but correctly fills the fields for searching within 60 miles of Santa Rosa, California, United States of America. So if you we click “Submit” to run that search, the 75 members appear.
Videos aren't loading
Message notifications are sent with an empty subject ("")
User email subscription preferences aren't updating
The profile appears to update, but subscription preferences aren't preserved.
Users get false notices of unread messages
Users can't empty their messages trash
Geolocation results are wrong
We have some problems with our geolocation:
- The user https://oldergay.men/users/fraser-barnfather lives in Sint Maarten, in the Caribbean. No matter how we try to add his location to his profile — by country, city, specific address, etc. — our geo coordination service resolves it to "Sint Maarten, Netherlands", and shows a Google map of the Netherlands. The island of Sint Maarten belongs to the Netherlands, but is thousands of miles from it.
