Café Mankind is a welcoming stop on your visit to Amsterdam. Ideally situated close to the Rijksmuseum, it is the perfect place to take a rest and recover from your sight seeing and partying or as a meeting point for friends. The café, owned and run by Frank for over thirty years, offers a warm and friendly welcome at any time of the year. In the summer you can relax on our canal side terrace or street side patio; and when it gets colder, the café is a snug and warm haven from the chill of the canals.

Aside from offering an excellent range of freshly made hot and cold light dishes, sandwiches and snacks, in the evening we also serve a delicious steak or saté with fries and salad or one of our extra large salads. Our kitchen is open daily from noon till 8.30 pm.

At Mankind we have always provided that ‘little bit extra’ and have time to chat, recommend events or attractions you may not have thought of and will do all we can to make your time in Amsterdam a memorable experience. Its all part of the service. We also provide a range of free magazines and newspapers, maps and information to help you enjoy your stay.

We look forward to seeing you.
