Although it, too, has a very mixed crowd. In the evening, you'll find lots of straight/gay/lesbian Dutch (all kinds of people from 20 to 80), singing, joining arms and swaying to wonderful Dutch "liedjes" (songs). It's a blast!
Amstel 54 is a lively bar on the corner of Rembrantsplein which is popular with both locals and international tourists. Food and drinks are served daily from 4pm to late.
